Re: "The (Packard) Experience" at the Gilmore 2015

Dave
Great pics and evidently it was a fine tour

The 745 you rode in is remarkably similar to mine. Is the owner a PAC member? Would you mind making an introduction between us?

Many thanks

Re: Step Plates

Just picking up on this old post. Did you manage to source some step plates? I'm looking to put some on mine as well. Seen the ones at the Complete Automobilist - they look quite nice and I can get them easily being in the UK However, it would be nice to have a Packard script on them Any advice? Tha...

Bill Scorah?

Hello chaps, Can anyone tell me if Bill Scorah has an email address. His listing in the roster keepers register does'nt have one. I have a new lead on the history of my 1930 Dual Cowl Phaeton. I have found an older picture of it and have learned that it was registered in Ontario Canada in 1996. It w...

Re: Goodwood Revival, UK

I guess we could have a bit of a poll.....

In terms of "gentlemen's relish", do we prefer 1940's, 1950's or 1960's ??

Goodwood Revival, UK

I took the family to the Goodwood Revival meet last weekend http://www.goodwood.co.uk/revival/welcome.aspx Out of the thousands of cars there I did eventually find a Packard and although I didn't get a picture myself, this one that appeared in the newspaper this week is probably more interesting ......

Re: brake locks up

I went to Thoresby but didn't take the car as the weather was a bit hit-and-miss. It was OK but not as good as in previous years. I think the threat of bad weather kept the best cars at bay.

Re: 1929 Packard 6-40 Brakes

The Bendix Bulletin from 1929 provides quite detailed instructions on how to set up the braking system.
