Re: 22nd & 23rd Renumbered car numbers

I was able to locate the motor number. It is G6072250 if you would like to add it to your data. Thanks Dave.

Re: 22nd & 23rd Renumbered car numbers

Thank you for your reply post. I have had this car for a long time and it has been a long restoration project. At the time that I bought this car I did not know about renumbered cars. I bought this car for a 1948 as that is how it had been registered, so here in Georgia I have a 1948 Packard Custom ...

Re: 22nd & 23rd Renumbered car numbers

Is there someone who has the data on the re-numbered cars that Robert Neal was building? I have a re-numbered 22nd series and will share the information if there is someone keeping up the data base that Robert had. I have one of the books he wrote and I love it. He put so much research and detail in...

Re: How to remove push button switch panel??

Re: How to remove push button switch panel??

The pins are 1 3/16 inches long with what appears to be 1/4 20 thread. I thought they held the buttons at first but they are to short and the wrong size thread. When I saw your post on page one I realized how the buttons bolted with the hex head bolt through the springs which I had as well. One of t...

Re: How to remove push button switch panel??

I finally got the file sized so it would upload. These are the eight threaded pins as I have called them that I can't figure out where they go. There are two other items in the photo as well. One appears to be part of the glove box light or switch and I'm not sure what the other part is for.

Re: How to remove push button switch panel??

Thanks for this information and sorry to be so long in getting back to this. I see now how the screw and spring goes into the buttons now through your help. I was thinking the smaller pins with threads on one end and a flat piece on the other end was on the back of the buttons to engage the switch. ...
