I saw the finished product in Hershey. One of the finest restorations I've seen. It will be rewarded with an AACA National Award at the annual meeting in February.

Sorry, Dave. That's what I meant. Painted properly (in my own opinion as to what is proper), as opposed to painted improperly (in my own opinion as to what would be improper). I know chrome was option, and as you stated, too much.

The "go-to" guy for running boards is Henley Acuff. I think you'll have to have the body work done on them first, though.

There is also a very good running board guy in Canada. I'll try and get his contact information for you.

The running boards of a 1939 are way different than for 1941-42. If you use Rhino Lining, you will not get the proper/correct look.

Yes, the heater in the floor of the rear compartment has its own fan, and its own switch attached to the grille (a separate switch under the dash was optional, as per service letter shown above). I had to leave my car in Hershey this fall, so I cannot go out and look under the hood to tell you how a...
