I concur with Dave on the Shell Rotella either straight 30w or the 15/40 which is what I use in my 32/901. You cannot overstate the need for clean oil in one of these engines. Those might not be stainless. Originals for prior years were cast in brass, and chrome plated. Check with Max Merritt he had new ones for earlier luggage racks but they were $ 1,200 for the 5 pieces.

Nor sure if they ever had redlines on 650x19 ? however Wayne Carini does a silver line on black wall tires using a old fashioned roller pin stripe tool. Just hold the wheel on the tire while someone slowly turns the wheel. I think you could do that with red also. It looks good in silver, but not sur...

You might try Dixie Exhaust in Charlotte NC, he has specs for many Packard models. He did my 32/901.

Front Leaf Springs

Has anyone had any luck with the re-torque of leaf springs ? My 32/901 is 1 in. lower on the driver side as measured from the bumper ends.

19" Wire Wheel needed

I need one 19" Wire Wheel for a 1932 Packard, fits 650x19 tire. Do not necessarily need a lock ring, but wheel must be road worthy. Gary
