Cranks like crazy! Best cranking PACKARD I have. Just has me baffled as to why the fire is so weak to the plugs. When it cools off starts normally. Just hate to throw parts at it. Am replacing the tune up stuff. Is there any way to ohm the coil? I have no specs. Thanks!
My 40 120 will not start when hot. The spark at the spark plugs are very weak when hot. Coil? Runs fine when cool. Have installed an electric low pressure pump to combat vapor lock. Bought a new coil from Max Merrit some years ago.

I am having a problem with the brakes gradually tightening up on my 1940 120. I believe it to be the bleed back orafice in the master cylinder stopped up. Is there any way to run a drill or wire in the orafice while the cylinder is still on the car? I did it on a 1952 Pontiac and it cured the proble...
