WTB In search of 1924 Single 8 rear bumper set
Gathering pieces for the roadster project. I'm also looking for a pair of rear fenders for the roadster. Sorry about the picture. The car is behind parts for other projects I am working on.

1M-356 Restored and ready!
Completed this one and have almost enough parts to build a second one. Last piece to deal with is the Sherwood water pump. I sent it to a shop back east that says they are familiar with them and can rebuild it. This engine goes in a restored 1953 Sherman wood boat.![Image]()

Anyone have an original shop manual for the 346 marine engine and transmission? What oil is used in the transmission?

Re: 1929 SERIES 640 Need help
Well, I should have called Henry Yeska first. He had them in stock..
Next is the radiator mascot... I forgot to ask Henry about that..
Carb is a bit rich, so I need to work that out.. Then maybe can get the car outside for some good photos..

Re: 1929 SERIES 640 Need help
This 1929 series 640 did not use Dawson plugs. The irons on the phaeton wrap around over the top of the door and insert into the guide inside the door through the inside door panel. Dawson plugs would have been on top of the doors.. There is no evidence that the tops of the doors ever had any holes ...

Re: 1929 SERIES 640 Need help
The trim parts I am looking for are on the inside of each door and surround the opening for the top side curtain irons to slide into. These would protect the door panel material. The escutcheons that I removed are aluminum and very beat up. As for colors, I am tired of seeing black, green, gray and ...

1929 SERIES 640 Need help

Not sure why I have not thought about a Packard board before now.... oops, sorry... The car is now painted and almost ready for upholstery....
