Re: Taillight dismantlement

picture please. If you have removed the small screw at the bottom, gently prying the chrome ring off should be the process - further encouragement really requires knowing which tail light you are working on...

Re: 1937 120 C Running problem

I concur/second what Dave has said. I will add emphasis (based on personal experience) to making darn sure the heat riser is fully open. This describes exactly how the car will act when the heat riser is even partially closed, or if there is any other obstruction (read mouse nest in muffler, etc) in...

Re: Hershey

As a Hershey vendor of Packard Parts, best advice I can offer is please advise your needs and I can bring whatever. there is no way I, or many other vendors, could ever bring all we have, so if you can advise you needs in advance, works better for both of us.
Welcome....

Re: Looking for 1936 120B wiper arms to purchase

The pictured car is almost correct. While the arms do have the triangular end, they are a replacement clip on style. The correct OEM Trico arms are attached to the post through the arm with a domed acorn nut. Note also the wiper blade which has accommodation for the wire from the body mounted tab to...

Re: Armored Cable Replacement - 1947 Packard Custom Super 21

Switch/cable in hand. length of cable, exclusive of switch and coil cap, that is to say armored cable only, is 21"
I also suspect this is used, not NOS, such that it has a lock cylinder in it. Nice used condition. I do not have the key for it...

Re: 1936 Packard 120 Horn relay and wire to horn button

wire enters the column from the bottom of the steering box, that is to say, in line with the column, there is a square plate with 4 bolts, about 2"x2", wire through grommet in center of this plate, all the way up to your horn button.

Re: Clipper carburettor

WDO-512 for the Clipper. 478 is for the old body style 120's - regardless, the kit is the same, 478/512. I have a fresh rebuild 512 in stock if you don't trust that your carburetor is, umm...risky.
