Re: 12 volt neg and 6 volt positiveat same time

I bought an external battery for charging my phone and tablet. It has 4 USB ports and you can charge a large tablet 5 to 6 times and my phone at least 10 times. These days you can get anything with a USB cable on it; lights, gps, heated cups etc.

Re: How accurate are the NADA price guides?

I think that NADA is fairly accurate when you try to get a value for let's say a 69 mustang, but for prewar low production cars it's a joke. For example: A 36 Packard 120 coupe has a high value of $61k (55,000 120's produced over all body styles ) my 35 Cadillac V8 coupe (1 of 4 left), has a high va...

Re: Clarke Gable with his 1934 V12

Does the car still exist?
I remember seeing a very nice 37 Darrin that belonged to Clark Gable in a well known collection last year. Clark Gable sure had (expensive) taste.

Re: 2015 Greenwich (CT) Concours d'Elegance

Looked up some other custom bodies by Graber, and I've to admit he's was ahead of his time. It looks like the Darrin bodied packards took after the Grabers! Check out this convertible Duesenberg: http://www.coachbuild.com/index.php?option=com_gallery2&Itemid=50&g2_itemId=51563 Or this 37 packard 115...

I love the 35 packard by Graber! As always Marano has always an interesting iron in the fire! I noticed that the 35 by Graber was on pebble beach last year as wel.

Re: New member question about a model identification

That's a "senior" model. The senior packards (super 8 & V12 ) had rumble seats till 1939. The junior line had rumble seats till 1937.

Re: RM-Sotheby's auction - Ft. Worth TX

The 38 by Graber is based on a (junior ) packard eight (or 120 in other years).
