Did you check the radiator? Check flow rate etc?
Flush out the engine?

I have to agree with the posts before. All I wanted to add is if you need to put another $2000-$3000 into this car you're better off to keep looking. There are nice running packard cars popping up on Craigslist on a regular basis that can be bought in the $3000-6000 range, and you can enjoy it right...

Dave, am I reading this right; that 4990 packard eight's from 1934 did survive in 1 way or another (some as show cars some as basket cases of course ) in order for you to get those numbers in your database?

It must be a 1095 sports coupe, because the business & touring coupe didn't have a rumble seat.

I did it the way Dave described on my 36 120, but it's tight and be prepared to say some words that would not be appreciated if you would say them in church :mrgreen: You need 2 of you to get the hood off, and also the radiator takes 2 guys. While you're at it and have water pump & radiator removed,...
