I have the rear window if you still need one.

Re: 1940 Packard 110 generator bracket

I grabbed a bracket at random from my shelf and it fit a 1940 110 engine and all the postwar 288 and 327 engines that I have so perhaps the one you have is for some other application.

Re: 1940 Packard 110 generator bracket

If you've not found a bracket, I'm sure I have some in my shop and can check once I'm there next week.

Re: 1900 Carburetor

I don't know if it would help you at all but I have a NOS Auto-Lite 1GS 4201 distributor which, according to the parts book, is for a 1700. Surely there are differences between the 1939 Six and 1941 110 distributor but I have no idea what the differences might be as they look the same to me.

Re: Chassis 2231

Yes, of course, I have been searching through Packard sources for an answer but so far have not found any reference. Once I make all my Service Counselors searchable it will be easier but for now it's a manual process so I was hoping someone might have come across this same question! You're right th...

Chassis 2231

Can anyone tell me what a 2231 is and with which bodies it might have used? It is listed with a number of parts in the 1948-1954 Packard Parts Book but it is not in the same book's model listing, nor is it listed at packardinfo.com.

Re: WANTED: 1941 110 Steering Column parts

If the spring and washer are the same as used in 1940, and I believe they are, I may have them but I can't be sure until my next workshop visit that hasn't yet been scheduled. Let me know if you still need it and I'll take a look!

Re: Brake Drum Wheel Alignment Pin

Thank you and very interesting! I don't know if it will work or not as my brake drum and I are hundreds of miles apart and I was hoping to have a solution ordered and waiting for me at my shop when I next go there but perhaps it's a place to start. I'm not sure but I believe the pin is the same as u...

Re: Brake Drum Wheel Alignment Pin

That's what I've been doing but I would rather put it back to the way it should be and my particular Packard has drums that are hard to find, being 14" on a commercial chassis.

Brake Drum Wheel Alignment Pin

Is the pin replaceable and does anyone reproduce it? I am referring to the pin used to align the wheel and support it while installing the lug nuts and I have a drum with it broken off. Of course I can still use the drum but it's harder to install wheels without it.
