Re: 1947 model 2106 Horn Question

Merle. One question I have is if you hook up the horn directly to a battery or battery charger, does it blow / sound as it should? If it does, the first thing I would make sure is that the horn is grounded properly. Let us know....

Re: Advice on buying a 1948-1950

Hello Howard56. Thanks for the lead. I checked out the car on the packardinfo site. Very nice car and I feel pretty fairly priced. I am looking at a couple of cars within the next few days not terribly far from home (near cleveland, ohio) so I will give those a look as the other car is in Oklahoma.....

Re: Steering wheel restorers?

One company that comes to mind for steering wheel recasting is J.B Donaldson in Phoenix, Arizona......they have pictures on their website of steering wheels they have done. I have never used them but I have heard they are real good. Not sure about pricing....good luck.

Re: Air Filter for a '39

DrMorbius. When I bought my 1940 120 coupe, someone had converted the air filter to a paper element type filter. I thought it fit pretty well so I left it. The filter element was a NAPA 6184 or a Wix 46184. Hope this helps.
