Re: Factory option rear heater installations in 1939...?

The heater in your car matches the one in the back of my 1940 One-Eighty lwb touring sedan. The fan's on/off switch is under the dashboard.

Re: AACA Hershey 2014

Dave
Thanks for sharing. That's my 1940 One-Eighty lwb touring sedan in your second set. I had to leave town just after midnight Saturday morning, and missed the show. I left my car behind, even though it's a great runner. I'll go back and get it in November, if there isn't any salt on the road.

Re: 1936 Twelve Dietrich convertible victoria

Absolutely gorgeous color on this car, and I agree with you in regard to the wheel treatment. Will it be ready for Hershey this year?
Are there any photos of the car with the turret hard top???

I believe any Packard lid will fit from 1939-1940, except for coupe or other custom projects.

Re: 1928 1/2 Size Packard "One of a Kind"

The Barnum & Baily Circus was more than 50 years old in 1928. The Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Baily circus was less than 50 years old in 1928. The car in question has several newer items on it than 1928. I really think you need to nail down some documented history before you can sell it as a RB & BB a...

If anyone has any way of contacting OkiePackard47, I have three engines. A short block, a rebuildable long block, and a rebuilt long block.

Re: looking for a super 8 block

I have one. It's from a 1946. No starter, generator, manifold, fuel pump or anything else. Just the block with everything inside of it, plus the cylinder head, oil pan, and timing cover. It even has a nice water distribution tube.
