Re: renting an enclosed trailer for National meet

menich07, If you are really comfortable driving it why not do so and enjoy it as it was designed to do by cruising down the secondary roads and enjoying the ride? Buy yourself a GOOD car cover that will fit your car properly and put it on the car at night. During the day either keep it in your room ...

Re: Restoration

Hello Clipper, The 37 Packard 6 is a worthy car for a restoration if it in reasonable condition mechanically with a body that can be straightened or have body patches applied to it. Outside of Kanter, always an excellent place for Packard parts, I've frequently used Max Merritt in Indiana. They have...

Re: 1929 packard

A good place to start your look into values is NADA Classics. I usually start there and adjust DOWNwards. They tend to be overly optimistic as if they are unaware of current economic conditions. When I say downwards, I am talking, usually about 30-50% downwards. For example, They show several models...

Re: Tubes for 840 disc wheels?

That makes a lot more sense and I suspect that more people will step up to the plate to answer your question on this. I've never worked with an 840 so I can not help you but we do have several people on the Forum that do and can. Gene

Re: Tubes for 840 disc wheels?

Re: 1949 Packard 8 Club Sedan

Is there a way for you to adapt something like this for your needs? This is what I was thinking about the last time I was considering rebuilding a 288.

Re: 1931 840 coupe whereabouts?

The only 840 that is shown in the registry at another site is an 840 Roadster located in Windsor, Ontario. Hopefully someone else can give you a better answer. Also, welcome to the club, as far as the Forum is concerned. Gene
