Ken, your mention of the spark plugs in your engine, stirred up an old memory. I believe your Champion RJ12C spark plugs decode as follows: R means they are resistor supression type - to minimize radio and tv interference; J means it is a 14mm plug with, I think, 7/16" reach (length of threaded part...

Steve, this PAC website has a section that shows photos of Packard dealers. I don't know if the St. Louis dealer is included, but take a few moments and scan through it. It is interesting.

Stephan, your leaking water pump is a common ailment with these cars. The pump uses bushings instead of sealed roller bearing, and packing and a pack nut to seal the water from leaking around the shaft. There is a segmented nut around the water pump shaft. You can see it by looking in from the back ...

Stephen, welcome to the Packard Club site. Your 1936 120B Convertible Coupe has a 282 cu. in., 120 b.h.p. engine. The bore size is 3.25 in. and the stroke is 4.25 in.
