Re: no data plate

I have an original data plate that may be appropriate from a car I parted out a while back, body style 1003. Your style?

Re: my packard's on fire....

FYI - you are not the first person to create these events. I was with someone who I'll just refer to as "Noel" set his seat bottom on fire with the same skill and aplomb as you. We pulled to the roadside and pulled the front seat bottom out. Quickly. Very Quickly. Been there, done that. Battery box ...

Re: 1941 Packard 120 Convertible Restoration

Condolences.
No archive for original color, door jambs or inside of doors usually reveals.

This forum and Packardinfo.com are your best resources.

Re: Found packard

21st series engine based on casting date. What does not compute is the length of the frame, looks way long, so I am registering my guess as a xx01A chassis, fitted with a replacement engine.

Loading Parts for Hershey...

OK – I am packing for Hershey to be a vendor for the first time. Most of what I have is 35-41 Pre-war Packard, junior And senior. Additionally, I am bringing nearly all of my postwar stuff and a smattering of “everything else”. To be honest, there is no way I could bring everything I have, especiall...

Re: New owner advise

Welcome to your next adventure. Pretty much basic response, 15w-40 Rotella is a common suggestions, as is 85/140 gear oil and DOT 3 brake fluid, i.e. there is nothing special about servicing this car. Fuel pump/tank/lines are suspect from sitting, carburetor cleanout, etc. fresh plugs and wires afte...
