Post by 433ambulance » Fri Sep 29, 2017 9:51 am

All lube lines reinstalled after being apart for "several years". Any special proceure? Do lines need to be bled like hydraulic brakes? Planning to use SAE 50 motor oil. Thanks for any info or reference.

Any number of ways, and priming is recommended because if the lines are empty, it will take many miles to fill them.

Either use the pump handle multiple times until oil appears at the furthest joint (rear of rear right spring), or use a manual pressure oiler pump to fill the lines before connecting.
