1937 PACKARD 12 HORN

Post by docdoc2 » Fri Oct 07, 2011 2:05 pm

Was more than one style horn used in the 1937 Packard 12's. My model 1038 coupe has a single horn mounted on the diagonal rod above the engine. The model 1039 convert coupe, being restored now has the same arrangement. I have also seen this arrangement on 1936 Packard 12's. Other Packard folks tell me the 1937 Packard 12 cars should have 2 much shorter horns, mounted lower. I would appreciate comments. Thanks

Have you checked to see what the parts book specifies?

Anyone else on this one?
