Steering wheel

Looking for a steering wheel for a '48 Super 8 Touring Sedan. The old one is an opaque hard plastic type of material that has cracked.

Ideas anyone?

I assume your steering wheel has a steel core around which plastic has been cast. If so, there are advertisers in Hemmings that can restore the wheel to like new conditon. Get your Hemmings catalog out and start looking.

Thank you. Merritt has one for $750. I'll try your suggestion and I'm sure save money and have a "like new one".
