We are pleased to announce that power antenna drive cables are now available for the Casco power antenna units in 1951-56 cars. For a number of reasons the cables develop ground out spots or become kinked or twisted with age. Often a previous owner would disconnect or cut the cable in the storage tube to allow for manual operation. Thus, there are many cars that have a good motor, gearcase, and mast, but no cable. Most Packard gals and guys with average mechanical ability or better can perform this repair. The kit comes with the cable, new linkage, and a detailed service procedure. Compared to buying a NOS, rebuilt, or even a used one (which may or may not have a good cable) The price is very reasonable. Total rebuilding service is also available, also at very reasonable prices for those who prefer that route. These cables also fit the Casco units in 1955-56 Pontiacs, (some '57s) 1954-55 Buicks, and very likely 1956-57 Lincolns.
