This image was used in the Metro, the free newspaper circulated on the rail network in the UK on Wednesday 15th January 2014. It was the cover image for a "lifestyle" piece on the way that society changed after the Great War of 1914-18.

I think the Packard being used by the four redoubtable ladies is a 1931 eighth series roadster, unless, of course, you know different !!

No doubt, nobody realised that this, presumably library image, dates from at least 12 years after hostilities had ended.
