Friends

I grew up on the North side of Indianapolis, just off of College Avenue, one street north of 71st St. The section of Indianapolis south of this is known as Broad Ripple. There was a very old stone two lane bridge on College, crossing Williams Creek. It eventually became so decrepit that it could only carry traffic one lane at a time. This made getting around very tedious. It was replaced by a much larger sweeping multi lane bridge.

I found out later that Carl Fisher used the bridge to test the prototype Prest-O-Lite tanks. He would throw them off the bridge onto the rocks and then run down to see if they had ruptured .

Very neat car. I'm extremely envious
