Brunch today with some of the local Packard bunch. Site was the historic '76 House in Tappan, New York; built in 1668 and where the Revolutionary War spy Major Andre was held and tried for treason.

From the left:

Sal - 1941 "180" sedan with factory AC, and 1936 Twelve convertible Victoria.
Missing (the photographer), Rob - 1950 Eight sedan.
Dave - 1934 Eight 1100 and 1956 Caribbean convertible.
Gerry - 1948 Custom Eight sedan and 1956 Patrician.
George -1938 Eight sedan and 1931 Pierce Arrow.
Kenn - 1954 Cavalier.

To me, one of the most rewarding things about the Packard hobby is the personal and social relationships that are developed with other owners. Thanks for sharing and reminding us of this aspect.

Yeah, I agree John - just make sure you are not being deceived by the apparently pure Packard guys you hang out with - I am suspicious of this being some sort of secret Rolls-Royce devotee club meeting under the guise of Packard friendship. Or didn't anyone else notice the Spirit of Ecstasy statue behind them....
