1932 Packard running board trim

Post by skelly242 » Tue Dec 26, 2017 10:47 am

I am employed at an automotive restoration shop. We were given a running board without any rubber on it, and a mangled brass piece of trim. The owner said it was a 1932 Packard. He did not state the make and model.
The brass piece I am to reproduce appears to be half round and turns back on itself to wrap around the edge lip of the running board. It is only about 1/2 in tall and does not resemble any Packard I see online. I can get more information from the owner if needed.
Does anyone on this forum own or have access to a 1932 Packard with the running board trim intact?
i am not familiar with Packards and the designations given to the cars by body style, engine size, etc. so please bear with me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Shane Kelly
