Hearse help needed 1939-1940

Post by 1940packardhearse » Tue Nov 25, 2014 7:07 pm

Working on my 1940 Packard hearse 1801A. 282 engine. Missing carb. Should it have a Stromberg ee-16? Same carb for 1939 1701? Anyone have some pictures? Need some missing items like henney badges, henney data ,shipping plates, henney floor or door silll plates. Also need headlight trim ring, hood side chrome, 2-16" wheels and sidemount covers or storage covers, front seat, interior window surrounds, hood center stainless trim, windshield exterior trim and whatever else you may have. I am going to make this car all it can be and any input would be appreciated. Please help as I don't know much about these cars. I can also help anyone that needs my car for help or reference. I look forward to everyone's input. Thanks, Jim.

yes, the EE-16 carb is correct. I have should have a decent rebuildable carb on the shelf here somewhere...along with a headlight rim, one wheel and lots of other stuff, except those items on your list not acknowledged. PM me your email address and I will zap you some photos.
