Shirley Stone

Post by Tinman_70 » Sat Jun 11, 2016 6:30 am

From the Florida Packard Club Caribbean Courier Newsletter:

Shirley Stone passed away on April 19, 2016 at the age of 97. Shirley and her late husband, Arthur, created the Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum which was devoted to Packard vehicles and memorabilia. Shirley had attended the recent Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance in February and was presented with an appreciation award. Packard was the featured marque at the concours where 32 Packard cars were on display including Shirley's 1939 Victoria Convertible and 1948 Station Sedan Woodie.

Sorry to hear this sad news. Met this lovely lady, only briefly when at the museum in 2012, and she posed for me in front of a '32 "Shovelnose".
