I don't know if you are the youngest but you obviously have excellent taste in Automobiles - Welcome aboard!

G'day,

Welcome, what sort of '41 110? I have a '41 120 Club Coupe.

A guy here in Oz, Mat, was 16 when he owned his first Packard, but he's now 24.

All the best.

Kirby...Congratulations...I think that your selection of the Packard is much like dating an older woman. You are in for one hell of a ride! Ernie

I purchased my first car in 1970 at the age of 13. It was a 1936 120B Sport Coupe. I had to borrow the money from my Dad and he made me pay him back every cent. It became our father/son project. I still have the car today and drive it regularly. Sure wish my Dad was still around to enjoy it also.

I got my first car when I was 18 in 1960. It was a 1935 Packard coupe with 2 side mounts and I paid $100 for it,got in it and drove it home. It had 137,000 miles on it and I drove it for five years and never had to spend a nickle on it for repairs. Sure wish I still had it.
As long as I'm posting here maybe you guys can help me find that old Packard. I sold it when I lived in West palm Beach, Florida back in about 1970. I had moved there in 1965 and stored the Packard till I could get it down here. Then I had no place to keep it so I sold it. The car was last registered in Massachusetts and the plate number was F34-793 (1961); Motor number is 867685, vehicle number 898-2134, Body serial number 220-165. It was delivered by a dealer in Los Angeles in 1935. It has the nomenclature plate on the firewall under the hood on the passenger side. I couldn't possibly afford to buy the car back but I would love to know whatever happened to it or where it is now. Pete
