WANTED ; Oil Line Brass Fitting

Post by analyse999 » Tue Jan 21, 2014 3:40 pm

HELP !

Wanted for my 1941 110 Sedan;

An original right-angled Brass Oil Pipe fitting (see picture) to replace the one I distorted stripping the engine bay (yes I'm an idiot...)

I would much rather find a good used original replacement than a new pattern part

Can you help ?

Many thanks.

I think this same question was broached within the last week or two. Any general auto parts store that has been in business thirty years or more probably has these lying around. Many of the newer "chain" stores likely have them as well. And I'd me amazed if the standard Packard suppliers don't stock them. I have a few pounds of them myself in a box but don't know the size or thread. I'd be happy to try to match a sample.

Thanks for this Don,

I'll try and identify the thread/size etc. and get back to you/suppliers.

Have a great weekend,

Howard.
