1936 Packard 120B Sport Coupe (Rumble Seat) For Sale

- $ 45,000 - Car is located in Center Valley PA

- Sold on June 28th, 1936 at the Fenstermaker & Rehms Dealership in Allentown PA
- Purchased by me in December 1969 from Ray Kuhns in Coplay PA
- I have owned this car for almost 50 years – This was the first car I ever purchased.
- Bought as a “Father-Son” project
- Always garage kept and well maintained
- Never restored – Excellent original condition – All wood is original and in excellent condition
- Mechanically maintained and meant to be a fun driver car
- Everything works as it should (gauges, lights, charging system, etc.)
- Major work done:
------ Feb 1998 - Engine professionally rebuilt by Superior in Allentown
------ Jul 2008 - New radiator
------ Jun 2012 - New clutch, pressure plate, and throw-out bearing
------ Sep 2013 – High Compression Head installed
- Over the years – replaced and/or rebuilt:
------ Brake components (master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake lining, brake lines)
------ Carburetor
------ Water pump
------ Fuel pump
------ Front and Rear Shocks
------ New Hub Caps (Bill Hirsch)
------ New Cormorant Hood Ornament (Don Summer)
------ All glass replaced
- Upgrades for ease of driving (all original parts saved)
------ Pertronix Ignition
------ Newer Distributor with single points and vacuum advance
------ 6 Volt internally regulated alternator for higher charge
------ Cooling Fan
------ Electric Fuel Pump
- Added for fun
------ Auhooga Horn
------ Sparton Musical Horns (3 Trumpet)
- Sport Coupes were low production models (some claim only 36 made)
- See Youtube Video of another 36 Sport Coupe claiming only 36 of these models were made in 1936
- I plan to have the car at Macungie in August for Das Awkscht Fescht
- Has original canvas top and original Banjo Steering Wheel
- Not interested in trades
