Description of Classes the PAC Uses in Shows and Events

Post by JWL115C » Sat Mar 10, 2012 9:10 am

I am looking for class descriptions. I can find the judging criteria and special awards descriptions and awardees, but no list of classes. Thanks

It's in the Membership Directory and Handbook. This is from the 2009-2010 Handbook, not sure if there were any changes recently, but I doubt it.

Dave,

Thanks for your help in locating the judging classes. I did not think to go to the membership directory and handbook. I copied the page from my directory and the footnote on the list says: "As of February 2011". I do not know if there are any changes from the 2009 listing.

May I suggest that this list be included on this website. It seems to me like a natural place for it.

Thank you.

I agree that it would be useful were it on the main website, and there are a number of other items there that need to be updated as well, including the list of Roster Keepers and their contact information. That's not my province and thus far I've not been successful with those responsible in getting this done, but I'll try again and hope for better results. Thanks for your thoughtful suggestion.

Dave,

You are welcome. I understand you are the moderator and not the webmaster. This site is a rich resource for those interested in Packards and deserves to be maintained and updated as needs are identified.

One more thing to pass on: The clock on the home page is broken. The hands are off center. Others have commented on this too.

The clock is apparently very dependent on which browser you use. In my version of Internet Explorer I don't even see the clock, but in Firefox it is perfect (though not reset today for daylight savings). I'll add it to the list of things that need attention.

Dave,

For your information I am running FireFox on an iMac. It was displaying correctly until a couple of months ago.
