Couple More Events in CT, NY & RI

Post by Steve_Mack_CT » Thu Mar 25, 2010 3:27 pm

To follow up on Dave's post:

April 30 - May 2 Rhinebeck, NY Rhinebeck Auto Show: http://rhinebeckcarshow.com
Sunday is the key here, modifieds and the like on Saturday but the good stuff shows up Sunday! If you live within driving distance but have never been, it is probably the best Northeast area swap meet outside of Hershey.

May 22 - 23 Newport, RI, The Newport Concours: http://www.newportconcours.org/

June 13, Glastonbury, CT Central CT Region AACA 36th annual meet: http://cenconnaaca.org/carshow.htm
I am handling publicity for this show and intend to invite two (LI & NE) regions of the CCCA in hopes they take the opportunity to meet up at a nice venue here in central CT
We want your Packard!! Questions on this one call me - 860-836-2787

June 19, a Saturday show, New Britain, CT Klingberg Family Centers - traditionally held in the fall this year the show is now calling itself a "festival of motorcars" and will include a first ever for Klingberg separate concours within the show. This show traditionally draws great stuff - brass, prewar and Full Classics.

Hope to see you at one of these

Steve, thanks for the notice on these events. Can you add anything on the Southbury CT and Redding CT (the old Ridgefield show) meets? I haven't been to Redding in a year or two, but understand it's no longer a prewar-only show.

34Packardguy, here is the info on Southbury, we did not make the 2009 show (rarely miss it) but expect to be there with the '39 120 this fall.

September 19, usually a great show and according to the link, improved layout for 2010: http://www.roaring-20s.org/main/car_show_info.htm

Redding show is a little harder to get info on. Last year they decided to move to a 50 year cut off - now, I am a prewar guy for the most part but I can live with that! :P

If you are in CT, can I expect you in Glastonbury?/ :D
