48th Deveraux-Kaiser Show

Post by Tinman_70 » Wed Feb 01, 2017 8:34 am

The 48th Annual Deveraux-Kaiser Car Show was held Sunday January 29 at Lakewood Ranch in Sarasota, FL. This show was started by Maurice Deveraux and Tom Kaiser in the early 70s and is held in their memory each year sponsored by the Sunshine AACA. Tom Kaise was the president of the Florida Packard Club who passed away in 2014. The show free and open to all cars 25 years or older. It generally has a large turnout of 1,500 plus cars and a large spectator crowd. Unfortunately, this year the weather kept the turnout very low but there were several fine Packards in attendance.

Thanks so much for the pictures. The '33 Eight has a properly-done feature that many restorers ignore and I'm so glad to see it done correctly, the metal inner tube valve stems and nickel-plated stem covers. 1934 was the last year for the metal stems and covers.
