Part missing from '40 front window

Post by JoeSantana » Tue Jun 14, 2011 6:55 am

When I took my windows apart to replace glass and rubber, too many years ago to mention, I misplaced the part that joins the 2 arms that create a scissor action to raise and lower the window. It's some kind of bushing or washer, plus screws to hold it in, one in a round hole and one in a slotted hole (probably for adjustments so the window doesn't bind). But what it actually looks like and what it actually is, I don't know.

Thanks for help with this.

Hi Joe, welcome to the PAC Forum. I can't help you with your question about the window parts, but as to posting photos, when in the "new post" or "reply" modes, just scroll down and click on "upload attachments" tab and proceed from there in the usual manner. Size limitations for the photos apply, and a limit of 6 photos per post.

Dave
