Paint colors

Post by GJBINSC » Thu Jan 03, 2019 6:19 am

I am about to start painting my 1932 901, and would like to know of any accurate color chips from suppliers that some of you may have worked with ? I know that pigments from that period may affect color, but at least I would have a starting place. I found the original color, sort of an olive green, hidden under the newer paint including the dark yellow pin striping, but would like to have options for a dark green.

You can try TPC Global for a starter.

Yea, I have paint from them, but it is $ 100 qt. and that is a lot to sample colors. They said the pigments are not the same and matching is quess work at best.
