Hello, I have a 1950 standard eight 4 door. My floor boards are gone around the edges. I am looking to build floor pans, rather than buy them, not only because I have more time than money, and also because this car will be used and driven in the summer as a daily driver. I got the car for next to nothing, and I'm fairly good with working with metal. Not perfect, but floor boards and such aren't a challenge. Now, what is a challenge, is filling in what's not there. My problem is the door pillars are loose from the floor and move. The pillars themselves look ok yet, but the floor in that area is rotten out. What I need to know is what is the measurement in between the posts? From inside to inside? I'd like to know that info for when I make my patch panels. Any info is greatly appreciated! Thank you! This is a great forum!
