I'm looking for a 1947 Custom Super Clipper fuel tank. Does anyone have a parts car with one intact or a vendor than can reproduce them? It has the 356 CU engine and would be in the Super category. The attached picture is from a restoration of a "46" limousine found online and should work for my car. Also, would a "49" or "50" model tank work for a "47"?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dave, Have you considered having your tank repaired? I pulled the tank off of my recently acquired '37 - removed 8 gallons of old gasoline, 3 pounds of rust, sent the tank off and had it cleaned, pin holes repaired, and tank sealed ($400).
