48 Ignition switch
I have determined that the ignition switch on my 48 eight is defective. How do I remove it for inspection/repair/replacement. Looks like 2 small holes on the bezel, probably set screws? I can't see in there with bifocals!

AHA! I kept at it and found a post from Howard 6 years ago regarding a 23rd series with the same question. The two holes are for a spanner to insert. Now I need to go invent a tool and get at it.

Re: 48 Ignition switch
Rear antenna retaining nuts on the 55/56 Caribbeans required a spanner to install/remove. I made one by using an old broken-off drill bit of proper diameter as the "pin", and shaped the rest from some soft aluminum stock. Took about a half hour to make, kind of a fun project.
