I just got a 1937 115c coupe and drove it to MVD to retiitle it. Starts and runs fine, but in 3rd gear, pulling over a bridge incline, it starts to sputter. On the way down the incline, it runs fine again. Feels like a fuel/carburetor problem to me. The Carter WA-1 one barrel carb might be the problem, I suspect. It was probably rebuilt during the restoration, but hasn't had much use in several years. Any thoughts? Thanks, Lee

I am not familiar with that carb, but have you checked the accelerator piston?
