53 Cavalier No Brakes; How to check MC fluid?
I went to move my 53 Cavalier with Easamatic from one spot in the shop to another and found absolutely no brakes. Hard pedal. I inspected it on the lift and see no problems;, fluid leaks, bad flex lines etc. Vacuum lines and tank look intact. I have no idea how to get to the master cylinder to see if it has fluid. Help appreciated.

Good news. I removed the fabric connector on drivers side vent and got to master cylinder fill plug from above. The connector blocked my view of the M.C. The M/C was nearly empty. Why, I don't know. Filled and now have brakes. Lifted car and found no leaks underneath. Guess the fluid evaporated over the years. Unfortunately, the connector is toast.

Unlikely the fluid "evaporated", check again very carefully for a leak.
