My 1937 120C 1099 should have a wrinkle paint finish on the heater, radio receiver and speaker. A few forum discussions have touched on the paint but can someone be more specific about how you get the correct finish and/or the paint to be used? I believe the color should be black. A close up picture might be helpful to show the level of texture. Thanks
Can't help much on specifics but VHT makes a spray can wrinkle paint you might check into. Black is one of the colors offered and there are various photos showing finished products spread here and there on various sites that sell the paint. Also a how to video on you tube of some Toyota rocker covers using the paint in a red finish. From what I see all appear to be a passable match to the texture of the black finish on this 37 control box.
