Our event is situated in the middle of Texas hill country in April - which means you and your Packard will enjoy Hill Country’s signature limestone hills covered by Bluebonnets across the roadsides, ranch lands and river valleys surrounding our host hotel in Salado, Texas.
The Texas Packard Meet is delighted to host the oldest and quite possibly the largest regional event of The Packard Club. We invite all Packard enthusiasts to join us in Salado for four days of food, fun and Texas sized hospitality.
Event schedule, hotel information, and event registration forms are located on the Texas Packard Meet website at www.texaspackardmeet.org.Our annual “Packards Plus Under the Oak” is an informal gathering of Packards, Orphans and Abandoned marques. In the spirit of Florida Packard Club founder Tom Kaiser we invite you to bring your Packard or Orphan to the show regardless of condition. Works in progress, original unrestored and show cars are all welcome. No fees, no judging. Just “show up and show off”.
This Packard Plus* event includes all Packards, all Orphans (defunct manufacturers) and all Abandoned (discontinued) models. Brand X vintage cars are also welcome and will have their own special parking.
A cookout lunch (a Boy Scout Fundraiser) is available to all who attend the show. And better yet, the lunch is free to the driver of any car shown at this event.
